START A CHECK-IN

Let’s make reaching out feel easier.

No perfect message needed. We will help you find something natural and give you plenty of different options.

01

Who is on your mind?

Use a first name, nickname, or leave it blank. This stays on your device.

02

What made you think of them?

Choose whatever feels closest. It only helps us make the message sound more natural.

03

Ready when you are.

Make the message sound like you, then choose where to send it. 3AM never sees who you choose or what they reply.

A QUICK NOTEYou do not have to fix everything+

Ask, listen and let them answer honestly. If you are seriously worried, involve a trusted adult or appropriate support.

FOR ME

This space is for you, too.

You do not need to know exactly what is wrong. Start with a feeling, a few words, or one small thing that might help.

Make support easier to reach.

Choose someone in Your People, then 3AM can help you find the words when you need support yourself.

ABOUT 3AM

Made to bring people closer.

Built around one simple belief: people should not have to struggle loudly to be noticed.

A Talking For Teens project built around one simple habit: think of one person and send one real message.

STAY CLOSE

Keep up with Talking For Teens.

Follow @TalkingForTeens on Instagram for app updates, campaign reminders and more from the project. We would genuinely love to hear what you think of 3AM too.

THE IDEAWhat 3AM is here to do+

3AM helps make checking in feel easier and gives you a gentle place to pause when you need support yourself. It is not a replacement for professional help.

PRIVACYWhat stays on your device+

Names, private notes, mood choices and check-in totals stay on your device. 3AM now keeps two private browser copies so your data can recover if one storage area fails. The app still has no accounts, online database or contact access.

Use the same browser each time. Safari, Chrome and Instagram’s in-app browser each keep separate 3AM data.
